You can enable unbiased hiring features in your pipelines to help reduce potential biases. Recruitee offers both Fair evaluations and Anonymous candidates to help you and your team stay objective during the entire recruitment process.
The Fair Evaluations and Anonymous Candidates features are available with the Optimize plan, and only admins can enable Unbiased Hiring for company accounts.
Fair evaluations
The Fair Evaluations feature hides other team members’ feedback to help new reviewers form their own, unbiased opinions. This approach reduces groupthink, ensuring each team member brings a unique perspective to collaborative hiring.
Fair evaluation needs to first be enabled at the company level by the Administrator.
You can enable Fair Evaluations at any stage in the pipeline if you have admin permissions. Once activated, reviews remain hidden until each reviewer submits their own.
The Fair evaluation functionalities can be enabled in the Pipeline stage in Settings > Templates > Pipelines.
Anonymous candidates
The Anonymous Candidates feature hides a candidate’s name, gender, and nationality on their profile, helping reviewers focus solely on the candidate’s experience and skills, free from potential biases. This promotes fairer evaluations and supports diversity in your hiring process. To enable the Anonymous candidates feature for your company account, you need to have admin permissions.
📌 Anonymized candidates cannot be messaged. Also, you won’t be able to schedule interviews with anonymized candidates. Their details will become visible once they move to a pipeline stage without Anonymous Candidates enabled or if they are disqualified.
