Manage your job views

Organize, filter, and customize your job list to streamline daily tracking and keep your hiring team aligned.

In the Jobs section, predefined and custom views give you quick access to your job data. You can filter job lists by specific criteria, tailor table columns, group and sort postings, and share configured views with your colleagues.

Filter your jobs list

Use filters at the top of any view to isolate job postings based on specific criteria.

1. Go to Jobs and select a view from the left menu.

2. Click Filters at the top of the list to add search criteria.

3. Select the fields you want to filter by, such as:

  • Status: Filter by job status (e.g., published, internal, archived).

  • Department: Filter by specific company departments.

  • Work model: Filter by remote, hybrid, or on-site arrangements.

  • Language: Filter jobs by their assigned language.

  • Tag: Filter by custom job tags.

  • Job openings status: Filter by filled or unfilled opening statuses.

  • New description editor: Filter by the status of the new description editor feature.

  • Assigned requisition: Filter by connected requisitions.

  • Job location address or Job location: Filter by physical addresses or location names.

  • Created by or Followed by: Filter by team members who created or follow the job.

  • Recruiter or Hiring manager: Filter by assigned recruiters or hiring leaders.

  • Dates: Filter by creation date, publication date, close date, last edit, scheduled publish, or scheduled close date.

  • Referrals or EEO Compliance: Filter based on whether referrals or EEO tracking are active for the role.

Use filter operators

Operators shape how your search criteria combine or isolate job data.

Note: Available operators depend on the specific filter type selected.

Choice and text operators

  • Is all of: Finds jobs that match all selected criteria simultaneously.

  • Is any / Is any of: Finds jobs that match at least one of the selected criteria.

  • Is none / Is none of: Excludes jobs matching the specified values.

Date operators

  • Is / Is not: Finds jobs that match or exclude an exact date.

  • Is set / Is not set: Filters jobs based on whether a date field contains a value.

Combine multiple filters with And / Or logic

When using two or more filters, click the And / Or toggle on the left side of the filter bar to adjust logic:

  • And: Narrows results by requiring every rule to be met.

  • Or: Broadens results by displaying jobs that match any single rule.

Search for specific jobs

Use the search bar at the top of the Jobs section to quickly locate positions by job title, job ID, location, or department.

Customize and reorder job views

Tailor the visual arrangement of your job list to highlight the metrics that matter most to your daily workflow.

Group jobs

Click Group by on the right side of the view to arrange jobs into categorized clusters, such as by Department, Status, Location, Work model, Country, State/Region, Tags, Priority, Recruiter, Hiring manager, or Language. Click the arrow next to any group header to expand or collapse it.

Sort jobs

Click Sort by to adjust the order of displayed postings by criteria like Title, Status, Department, Candidates, Hires, Requisitions, Date created, Published date, Close date, Scheduled publish date, Scheduled close, Priority, or EEO status.

Tip: You can combine Group by and Sort by settings simultaneously to keep your workspace structured.

Reorder jobs on your careers site

Change the display order of jobs on your public careers site:

1. Click View Settings (three dots icon) in the top-right corner and select Reorder under More.

2. Drag and drop jobs into your preferred sequence.

3. Click Save.

Note: For your custom job order to apply to your Careers Site, ensure the Sort jobs dropdown (located in CareersHub > Job section > Edit) is set to As in Recruitee.

Change view layouts and manage properties

Switch between visual layouts and select which data fields display on screen.

Click the three dots in the top-right corner to open View Settings and choose your layout:

  • List view: Displays jobs in a streamlined, stacked list format.

  • Table view: Displays data in structured rows and columns. Customize columns by clicking Properties to show or hide fields like candidate counts, assigned team members, dates, and locations. Drag the handles on column items to rearrange their order.

  • Board view: Displays jobs as visual cards. You can also enable Swimlanes under View Settings > Board > Swimlanes to organize cards into two-dimensional grid rows (e.g., grouping departments vertically alongside recruiters horizontally).

Manage view visibility settings

Control who can access custom job views that you configure.

1. Click New view (or go to View Settings > Visibility options for an existing view).

2. Select your target sharing setting:

  • Only you: Keeps the view private to your account.

  • Everyone: Shares the view with all users in your company.

  • Selected team members: Restricts access to chosen colleagues.

3. If you chose Selected team members, select the appropriate team members from the window and click Save.

Examples

Building an executive recruitment summary view

Suppose you are a Talent Acquisition Lead who needs to monitor high-priority engineering roles weekly.

You start by creating a New view named "Engineering Hiring Summary". You add a Department filter set to "Engineering" and an And status filter set to "Published". Next, you choose Table view, click Properties, and select columns for Title, Hires, Qualified candidates, and Hiring manager.

Finally, you go to Visibility options, select Selected team members, and add your VP of Engineering. Both of you can now open this shared view at any time to review real-time recruitment progress without setting up manual filters every week.
