Event names should provide enough information so you can easily understand them without opening the invitation.
You can control how interviews and events appear in calendars by setting custom event names.
Customize names for individual events
When scheduling an interview directly from a candidate’s profile, you can edit the name for that specific invitation.
1. Go to the candidate’s profile and click Schedule.
2. In the Event name field, enter your preferred title. The default format is {candidate’s full name} - Interview with {company}, but you can change this.
3. Fill in the remaining details, such as date, time, and interviewers.
4. Click Continue to review and send the invite.
Use the [event.name] placeholder in your email templates to automatically pull your custom name into the body of your message.
Customize names in the event scheduler
Set a custom event name for your event scheduler links to ensure every meeting booked through that link follows the same format.
1. Go to Settings > Workflow > Event scheduler.
2. Click + New event scheduler link or edit an existing one.
3. In the Event name field, enter a name or use placeholders (e.g., [candidate.first] for the candidate’s name) to personalize it.
4. Click Save link.
