Go-live checklist for WhatsApp Hiring

⚡ Setup takes around 15 minutes - but only if your Meta Business Account is already verified!
If you plan to use an existing account, check its verification status before starting. This is the most common blocker for quick setup.

📌 During your trial, you can use one of our test numbers. In that case, steps 3–6 aren’t required.

✅ Administrator access in Recruitee
To complete the setup, you need to have an administrator role in your Tellent Recruitee account.

✅ Privacy policy URL
You’ll need the URL of your company’s privacy policy page.
​
✅ Phone number for WhatsApp
You need a mobile or landline number not yet associated with WhatsApp (no one-time numbers).

✅ Facebook account
You need a personal Facebook account with full control to your company’s verified Meta Business Account (check here). If your company doesn’t yet have a Meta Business Account, you can set one up through us.

✅ Credit card
For your WhatsApp Business Account in Meta, you’ll need a valid credit card and permission to verify the card online.

✅ Company logo (Optional)
You can upload your company logo as a JPEG file to use as your WhatsApp profile picture.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do not install WhatsApp Business beforehand on the device using this phone number. The phone number must not be connected to WhatsApp yet.
