You’ll need:
✅ Access rights in Tellent Recruitee to create Personal API Tokens and access Webhooks.

✅ Optional: A WhatsApp-compatible phone number (not already in use) and a Facebook/Meta account.

1. Go to Marketplace > Categories > Tellent Apps and select Whatsapp Hiring to Integrate.

2. Click Integrate.

3. Go over the integration details and click Accept and Integrate.

4. Review connection details and click Accept and Integrate.

💡 After this step is enabled, other users will be able to enable their accounts through the settings page once the integration is finished.

5. Click the green button "connect your account"

6. Your WhatsApp Hiring account is now enabled to start the implementation.

1. Click the WhatsApp Hiring icon, which now appears in the left-hand sidebar

💡 Users with an existing Whatsapp Hiring account can proceed directly to point 4 to initiate the setup.

2. Select both options, the WhatsApp application Bot, and ensure Direct communication is selected, and select Next to proceed with the account registration.

3. Fill in your company details.
​

4. Click the button "Start Setup".
​

5. Add the link to your company's privacy policy.

The setup wizard will automatically connect to your Recruitee careers site and check for a stored privacy policy. Your applicants will need to accept this policy when they begin a WhatsApp chat.

6. Add your Recruitee Webhook Secret and click Check data.

You can find it in Tellent Recruitee by navigating to Settings > Webhooks.

7. You can use one of our 🇩🇪 German, 🇫🇷 French, or 🇳🇱 Dutch test numbers (usable globally), or connect your own number during the trial period. After the trial, you will need to create your own WhatsApp Business Account and connect it (see this article).

8. Select your default message template.

You’ll be prompted to set a default message template. We’ve already created one for you. You can customize it now or update it later. Once Meta approves the template (usually takes 1 minute), you can continue with the setup. For new WhatsApp Business Accounts, this review can sometimes take up to 24 hours. If it takes longer than 3 minutes, we recommend returning to this page later. You'll receive an email from Meta once your template has been approved.

9. After your template was approved this view will appear and you can click the button "Go to WhatsApp Hiring"

10. You can now access the three sections - WhatsApp Hiring Inbox, Application Bot, and Settings - in the additional left-hand sidebar. You will also see a WhatsApp tab in each candidate’s profile:
