Each candidate in Recruitee has all their data organized in a candidate profile. The overview provides you with information about the candidate. Information can be added or updated directly by team members in all the different fields.

Name

Click the pencil icon next to the candidate's name, edit the name as you want, and click Save when you are done.

Main tabs

Under the main tabs you can find all of the candidate's data such as CV, tags, source tags, contact details, social profiles, and activity logs with your recruiting team.

  • Messages: All emails between the candidate and your recruiting team.

Profile fields

These are custom fields for your candidate profiles and can be used to collect the candidate information that you need such as salary expectations and notice period. They can be set up as templates and applied to all candidates who are applying to a job.

Tags and source tags

Click "+" next to Tag or Source and select the tags or source tags you want to add.

To create a new tag or source tag, type the tag name and then click Create new.

💡 Read more about Manage tags and Source tags.

Email, phone number, and social link

Click the Edit button in the top right corner of each field.

Write the information as you want and click Save.

CV

Click Upload file to add a CV to the candidate’s profile.

Once the CV is uploaded, you can see a timeline or their experience in the Experience tab.

To add a Cover letter, scroll down under CV and click Add cover letter.

Select Upload a file or Enter text to fill in the cover letter, then click Save. When a file is uploaded or some text is filled in, the Cover Letter moves above the CV.

Preferred work location

Under the Job’s title, the candidate's work location is listed. You can see which job the candidate applied for and what's their preferred work location if they chose it.

Click on the job to edit. If a candidate didn't choose anything, the label is left empty instead.

⚠️ For job with one location, the job location is automatically assigned as the candidate’s work location.

Select an additional or different location and click Confirm.

Talent pools

If a candidate is part of a Talent pool, this is displayed on the job they are applying for.

With the three dots next to the Talent pool, you can access the Talent pool they are part of, or remove them from it.

Tasks

Write a task associated with the candidate in the field Add a task. A line with a tick box then appears under the Tasks category. Tasks are associated by default with the profile of who created them.
