Otentica is a technology company specializing in automated pre-employment screening and compliance-driven workforce verification. Their platform enables organizations to screen candidates and workers through secure, fully digital workflows, covering identity verification, diploma and qualification checks, VOG validation, registry checks, and ongoing compliance monitoring. With this integration, you can send background check invitations to candidates and receive background check results directly inside Tellent Recruitee.

To set up this integration, follow the steps in Otentica's website.
Setting up the integration in Tellent Recruitee
Go to Marketplace > Categories > Reference and background checks and select Otentica to Integrate.
Go over the integration details and click Accept and Integrate.
Paste your Otentica API token and click Integrate.
Sending a background check invitation to a candidate in Tellent Recruitee
1. Go to the candidate's profile. Click the three dots > in the dropdown menu choose Request Otentica background check.
2. Check the candidate data and correct it if necessary. Then, select a background check and click Send.
3. An Otentica badge will appear in the candidate’s profile indicating that a background check invitation has been sent to them.
4. At the bottom of the candidate's profile, you can find a section with a list of background check invitations and their status.
📌 Note: Once a candidate completes their background check, their profile will display a green checkmark badge. To review the results, click the three-dot next to the background check and select Download PDF to save a copy, or Open to view the report directly in your Otentica account.
What personal data does Tellent Recruitee send to Otentica?
Candidate first name, last name, email address and candidate ID.
