Create reports from scratch

Aside from adding reports from our library to your custom dashboard, you can also create them entirely from scratch.

1. Click +Add report in the top-right of your custom dashboard. The report library will open.

2. Select Start from scratch in the top-left.

3. Pick a report type. There are Trend, Breakdown, Single metric, and Pipeline reports.

Trend report

Trend reports highlight changes of your data over time.

1. Select a metric.

2. Give your report a title and optionally add a description.

3. Optionally pick another metric to group the first metric by.

4. Pick if you’d like to visualize your metrics as a chart, data table, or summary.

Note: Some visualization types may not be available for some report configurations.

If you’ve picked a chart, you will be able to select between a bar and a line chart type.

5. Select a Date range for your report.

You can select a Frequency based on your date range.

6. You can add an additional filter under Filter by in order to filter your selection by a specific indicator.

7. Once you have finalized your selection, click Add report in the bottom-right in order to add your report to your dashboard.

Breakdown report

Breakdown reports consist of essential metrics that are grouped by different categories.

1. Select a metric.

2. Give your report a title and optionally add a description.

3. Optionally pick a metric to group the first metric by, as well as a secondary metric.

4. Click the toggle if you’d like to exclude anonymized data of deleted candidates in your report.

5. Pick if you’d like to visualize your metrics as a chart, data table, or summary.

Note: Some visualization types may not be available for some report configurations.

If you’ve picked a chart, you will be able to select between a bar and a pie chart type.

6. Select a Date range for your report.

7. Under Date property you can determine which date property should be considered when it comes to the metric you picked.

8. If you have chosen several metrics, you can select which metric your report should be sorted by under Sort by.

9. Select the Amount of data displayed.

10. You can add an additional filter under Filter by in order to filter your selection by a specific indicator.

11. Once you have finalized your selection, click Add report in the bottom-right in order to add your report to your dashboard.

Single metric report

Single metrics reports focus on single key values.

1. Select a metric.

2. Give your report a title and optionally add a description.

3. Optionally select another metric to group the first metric by.

4. Click the toggle if you’d like to exclude anonymized data of deleted candidates in your report.

5. Pick if you’d like to visualize your metrics as a chart, data table, or summary.

Pipeline report

Pipeline reports focus on your candidates’ progress throughout your pipelines.

1. Select a metric.

2. Give your report a title and optionally add a description.

3. Pick if you’d like to show data for all pipelines, a specific pipeline, or a specific job.

Select which pipeline or job you would like to configure the report for if you chose to show data for a specific pipeline or job.

Pick between Stage type and Stage name under Group by to group the report by your custom pipeline stages or by stage types only. Learn more about the difference between stage names and stage types.

Optionally click the toggle to exclude deleted candidates’ anonymized data from the report added to the dashboard.
