Tags let you group your jobs and candidates together, manually. They’re great for setting hiring priorities or easier matching of candidates to jobs, for example.

How to tag jobs

To tag jobs just select whichever tag you like from the tags list. Then select the tag from the drop-down menu. Here you can also create a new tag to add to that job or candidate.

You can see which tags a candidate belongs to from their profile page. You can also tag jobs individually here by selecting the 'Add tag' button and choosing the tag from the list.

Useful tags to create

The tags you create should be specific to your open jobs. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Marketing team - You might want to quickly find the high priority hires for the marketing team.

Amsterdam - You can also tag all jobs that are to be hired for a specific location or department.

Designer - You might want to quickly identify the role a candidate held in a previous company. To do so, you can tag any candidate as a 'Designer', 'Marketer' or 'CEO', for example.

How to edit or delete a tag

You can easily edit a tag by visiting Settings > Tags & Sources. Then, just select the pencil icon next to the tag.

Or if you don’t need a tag anymore, you can delete it by checking the tag and pressing the delete icon.

Search based on tags

You can filter on candidates and sources to recall candidates that belong to certain tags, like this:
