Note:
The changes described in this article are part of a phased rollout and may not yet be available to all users. We are gradually releasing the refreshed candidate profile view to clients based on their regions and pricing plans between October 7 and November 4 (tentative timeline). If you do not see these updates yet, rest assured they will be available to you soon.
We’ve recently updated the candidate profile to boost work productivity, enhance its usability and overall visual appeal. Our key goals with this refresh were to:
Speed up the application review process
Reorganize candidate and job-related details for easier navigation
Simplify the management of past and upcoming events
Clarify evaluation scores, helping you assess if a candidate is a strong fit for specific jobs
Refresh the visual design for a more modern look and feel
💬 The changes we’ve introduced were largely inspired by your feedback, gathered through the Canny feedback board, feedback calls, and our survey. Thank you for your valuable input!
What we’ve introduced:
Design update
The candidate profile has received a redesign, bringing a streamlined, user-friendly look to enhance your overall experience.Improved data organization
We’ve reorganized the profile sections to group related details, making navigation easier and improving the data structure to support faster future development.
👇See below the new Contact, Details and Profile fields sections
🟣 We listened to your feedback, and dates are now displayed as full dates (day-month-year) instead of relative terms like "1 week ago."
Collapsible sections for quicker CV access
Key sections are now collapsible, allowing for quicker CV access without the need to scroll through long profiles—especially helpful when reviewing multiple candidates at once. If there’s no cover letter, the section appears below the CV to minimize scrolling.Sticky header for efficient navigation
The candidate’s name and profile navigation remain visible as you scroll, ensuring you always know which candidate you’re reviewing and reducing the risk of mistakes. This is especially helpful when managing and reviewing multiple applications.
New "Events" tab
A new Events tab has been added, showing all past and upcoming events related to the candidate, making it easier to manage and track interview schedules and other interactions.
Redesigned job section with clear actions
The Jobs section has been revamped, making important actions like Disqualify and Proceed more visible, with clearer colour coded pipeline stages and easier navigation for managing candidates' hiring progress.
Hiring details and tooltip for quick job information
You can now view key hiring details—such as application dates and disqualification details—directly within the profile. Additional job details are available through hover tooltips, eliminating the need to navigate to the job page for quick access to important information.
Focus on active recruitment processes
We’ve separated the Jobs section from the Talent Pools section, also allowing you to collapse inactive recruitment processes and focus on active ones without any distraction. Additionally, the newly assigned jobs are always at the top of the list.
Evaluation scores for each hiring process We've made it easier to assess whether a candidate is a good fit for a specific job, especially when they have been considered in any other hiring process before.
Prominent evaluation scores are displayed alongside each job, and there’s no misleading average scores.
ℹ️ Terminology has been updated: Job fit score is now called Evaluation score, and Average score has been renamed to Average evaluation score.
10. Quick evaluations update It’s now quick and easy to see if and how you have already evaluated a candidate. If you're evaluating a candidate for the second time, you can choose to update your existing evaluation or add a new one.
We hope you like this update! If you have any feedback, please share it with us in dedicated feedback survey: https://form.typeform.com/to/R6Sl9zdK
