How can I clear my browser's cache?

Google Chrome (Source)

  • At the top right corner, click More

    More

    > More tools > Clear browsing data.

  • At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

  • Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files

  • Click Clear data.

Microsoft Edge (Source)

  • At the top right corner, click More

    > Settings > Privacy, search, and services

  • Under Clear browsing data > Clear browsing data now, select Choose what to clear

  • Under Time range, choose a time range from the drop-down menu.

  • Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files
    Check out the description for each data type here (link).

  • Select Clear now.

Mozilla Firefox (Source)

  • At the top right corner, click the Menu

    > Preferences > Privacy & Security.

  • In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…

  • Remove the checkmark in front of Cookies and Site Data

  • With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.

  • Close the "about:preferences" page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

Safari (Source)

  • Method 1

    • At the top left corner, click Safari > Preferences...

    • Select the Advanced tab, then check the box next to Show Develop menu in menu bar.

    • Navigate back to the menu bar on the top, and select Develop -> Empty Caches.

  • Method 2: Deletes everything relating to a website you've visited (Cache, cookies, and any other related data)

    • At the top left corner, click Safari > Preferences...

    • Select the Privacy tab > Manage Website Data.

    • Select a website that is listed, then click Remove.


What can I do when my Recruitee account is running slow?

When encountering sluggishness with your recruitee account, consider the following steps to enhance performance:

- Attempt accessing Recruitee through a different browser. Is the issue persistent across browsers?

- Explore the option of using an Incognito or Private browsing window. Should your experience improve, the problem might be tied to your browser's cache and cookies. Clearing these might help. Here's an example of how you can do this using Google Chrome.

- It's possible that reduced performance is linked to the device you're using. Test accessing Recruitee on an alternate device, or consult your colleagues to verify if they also face similar issues.

- Ensure a steady and reliable internet connection.

- Alternatively, stay informed about any service disruptions by subscribing to our status page: https://status.recruitee.com/


How to get in touch with customer support team?

To initiate a conversation with Recruitee’s customer support team:

  1. Log into your Recruitee account

  2. Navigate to the top right corner and click on the “?” icon

  3. Then, click on Messages > Send us a message

Recruitee is not working. How can I fix that?

You can try following these steps to improve the performance of your Recruitee account:

1. Open Recruitee in another browser and try again, does the problem occur here as well?

2. Open an Incognito/Private window of your browser. If your experience improves, the issue could be related to your browser cache and cookies. You can try to clear your browser cache and cookies. Here is an example of how you could do it with Google.

3. Decreased performance could also be related to the device you are using. Please try to open Recruitee on another device or confirm with your colleagues whether the issue also occurs on their end.

4. Make sure your internet connection is stable.

5. Alternatively, you can stay updated on any outages with subscribing to our status page: https://status.recruitee.com/


How can I opt out of receiving Recruitee emails?

Located at the footer of every email sent from Recruitee, you'll find an unsubscribe alternative.

Kindly utilize this option if you prefer not to receive further communications from us.


Is it possible to stay informed about Recruitee outages via email alert?

You can stay updated on any outages by subscribing to our status page: https://status.recruitee.com/


How can I find the company ID (which can be used for API)?

Is it possible to have a sandbox account for testing purposes?

Sandbox environments are available to our Optimize customers. Please find more information about the included features per plan here.


Our company has the Optimize plan and would like to activate SSO. How can we proceed?

Before we can enable SSO for your Recruitee account you will need to generate the Metadata XML file in your SSO provider.

We currently support four SSO providers:

- Okta

- Microsoft Azure Active Directory

- Google Apps

- Auth0

After you (or the administrator in your SSO tool) have generated the file, you can then proceed to upload this under Settings > Company settings > Single sign-on (SSO) > Upload file. Subsequently, we can then go ahead with enabling SSO for your account.

Please keep in mind:

- All logged-in users will be logged out of Recruitee after SSO was activated.

- Users won't be able to log in with their old Recruitee login credentials after SSO was activated.


Is it possible to provide feedback about the Recruitee product? How can I reach the product team?

We base most new features and updates on users' feedback so your feedback is very helpful and valued.

Any and all feedback can be shared by our customers via a Support chat or email, as well as directly through our Product Feature Roadmap.

What happens next after a feedback idea was raised:

  • The feature will be discussed internally, and if we feel it will help enough users, it will be considered to be added.

  • We cannot give you an exact time frame of when a certain feature would be available, but you can keep an eye on our Roadmap for this and all features.

  • By adding your feedback directly to the board, it goes straight to the development team!

To log into the product board, you simply need to use your Recruitee credentials.
