Add a CAPTCHA to the application forms on your careers site to verify users and prevent spam.

In this article:

What is CAPTCHA?

CAPTCHA is a type of challenge-response test used to determine whether or not the user of a website is human. CAPTCHAs prevent automated abuse on websites, such as creating fake accounts, submitting spam, or scraping website content.

On your Recruitee careers site, you can enable an invisible CAPTCHA. It runs in the background of your site and assesses whether or not a user is a potential threat. If so, a CAPTCHA challenge will be displayed once the user tries to submit an application form.

Invisible CAPTCHAs effectively block bot traffic while allowing candidates to apply for a job without interruption in most cases.

Enabling CAPTCHA on your careers site

1. Go to the CareersHub > Settings.

2. Under General, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the CAPTCHA settings.

3. Under Mode, select Invisible.

💡If you want to disable CAPTCHA, you can select the mode Disabled at any time.
