Below you will find frequently asked questions and answers around the price increase to your subscription starting January 1, 2023.

  1. When does the price change take effect?

    • The list price change takes effect on January 1, 2023. Customers signing on January 1, 2023 and after will pay the new price. For existing Recruitee customers (as of December 31, 2022), the price change takes effect on your next subscription renewal date that falls on or after January 1, 2023.

  2. How can I find my subscription renewal date?

    • Visit Settings > Billing and check your last received invoice. Your renewal date is marked as ‘next billing date’ on the invoice.

  3. How can I see what I currently pay for Recruitee?

    • Visit Settings > Billing and you will see the price. If the price is not shown you are on a manual subscription. If you have a manual subscription, please reach out to support to confirm what your current price is.

  4. Which existing customers does this change apply to?

    • This change applies to all Recruitee customers who who purchase Recruitee after January 1, 2023 or have a Recruitee renewal date on or after January 1, 2023.

  5. Will there be more price changes in the future?

    • Due to changing market conditions and dynamics, we don’t make any predictions or commitments to our future product pricing. Any changes made to our pricing model come after a thorough review of our offerings and the value it brings to our customers which may change over time as our product improves and evolves. In our Terms of Service (clause 11.2), we reserve the right to adjust fees upon renewal.

  6. I’ve already arranged a discount for my next subscription term. Can I still have that discount?

    • Yes, we will honor any discount rates included in the terms of your auto-renewal for your next subscription term. As an existing customer, your price will increase relative to the auto-renewal terms you’ve already agreed to.

  7. What improvements are you making to Recruitee in the future?

    • You can find the product improvements and leave your suggestions and feedback on our roadmap.

  8. What if I have an existing open quote that includes the current pricing?

    • We’ll honor that quote until its expiration date.

  9. I’m on a subscription for longer than 1 year; when does the price increase affect me?

    • At the start of your next subscription term. Your base price will not change until the start of your next subscription term which begins on or after January 1, 2023.

  10. Does the price increase also affect new customers purchasing Recruitee after January 1, 2023, or only existing customers?

    • New business customers who purchase a subscription on or after January 1, 2023, will also see the price increase.

  11. I’m on a subscription with a discount. Can I still have that discount upon renewal?

    • No, according to our Terms & Conditions, any calculation of fees for renewals of Subscriptions will be based on fees excluding discounts.

  12. Are prices also increasing for Recruitee partners?

    • Yes.

  13. Is every user from my company receiving the email regarding the price increase?

    • No, only finance users of existing customers have received the email regarding the price increase. This FAQ can be found online by all website visitors.

  14. I want to change my plan upon renewal; how can I find out what my new price will be?

    • Contact our Support team or your own Customer Success Manager to discover the possibilities of the new plans.

  15. Does the price increase only affect the price for the base plan or also the price for additional slots?

    • The price increase affects the total price which includes both the base plan and any additional slots.

  16. In the year of 2022, I already paid the invoice for my renewal in 2023. Do I need to pay extra after January 1, 2023 to compensate for the difference in pricing?

    • No, the pricing increase will only be at renewal or for additional products. The 5% price increase will not be applied to already paid-for services.
