Improved Automated Actions

We’ve improved Automated Actions to give you more flexibility and control.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Assign actions to roles: You can now assign actions to roles like Recruiter or Hiring Manager, not just specific individuals.
    Example: Request an evaluation from the Hiring Manager when a candidate reaches a specific pipeline stage.

  • Assign tasks to the person performing the action: Create and assign tasks not performed by a specific role.
    Example: When a user moves a candidate to the ‘Interview Scheduled’ stage, you can assign a follow-up action (task) to that same user to confirm their interview availability within 24 hours.

  • Send emails to candidates and team members: Set up automated emails for candidates and internal team members.
    Example: When a candidate reaches a specific interview stage, interview details are automatically sent to the candidate and the hiring manager.

Journeys: Pre-onboarding access

Introducing pre-onboarding access on Journeys! New hires can start getting set up using their personal email address before their first day of work.

Here’s how it works:

  • Personal email-based access: Once a personal email address is provided and the pre-onboarding journey is launched, the future employee will receive instructions via their email on how to access and start their journey.

  • Pre-onboarding journey access: Future employees can log in, view their pre-onboarding journey, monitor current and upcoming steps, and track progress through a secure interface.

  • Actionable pre-onboarding portal: Using the secure pre-onboarding interface, future employees can:

    • Perform necessary actions that will be logged on their Tellent HR account

    • Upload the required documents

    • Add and complete information in their employee profile

  • Seamless transition from email-based access to Tellent HR account: Once employees are provided a complete Tellent HR account (typically provisioned when they commence their employment contract), they can continue their pre-onboarding process seamlessly within Tellent HR.
