By default, all of your team members can see your email communication with candidates in the Recruitee mailbox — if their hiring roles allow for that.

There are two options to set an email visible to only you and/or selected team members.

Option 1 – Set a newly written email private

1. Click Mailbox in the left menu.

2. Click the New email button in the top left corner.

3. From the composing box, click All team members in the lower right corner. 

4. Change the visibility to Selected team members.

5. The composing box will turn yellow, indicating that it's a private email.

6. Click the + button next to your name to add the team members who should be allowed to see the private email.

NOTE: When an email is visible to the selected team members, its entire thread (all replies) will also be visible to those same team members.

Option 2 – Set an existing email private

1. Go to the email you want to set private > Click the three vertical dots icon in its top right corner > Select Thread visible to...

2. Chose Selected team members. The email will turn yellow, indicating that it's private.

3. Click the + button next to your name to add the team members who should be allowed to see the private email.

NOTE: When an email is visible to the selected team members, its entire thread (all replies) will also be visible to those same team members.
