Integrating your Recruitee account with Amazon Redshift will grant you access to the raw data in your account to analyze and report on using the business intelligence tool or reporting infrastructure of your choice.
What does this integration do?
The Amazon Redshift integration will give you access to a full set of the raw data of your Recruitee account allowing you to connect it with any BI tool Amazon connects with with a few clicks. You can also combine data from several Recruitee accounts or with other data sources, allowing you to create custom reports or analytics based on this data. The data will be refreshed automatically, every 24 hours between 12 and 6 am (CET).
What are the integration’s limitations?
The data you receive access to is raw and you need to extract the desired information yourself. The integration itself will not assist you in building custom reports, this has to be handled from your end entirely and requires a BI tool to connect the data to. Furthermore, the data is refreshed approximately every 24 hours, meaning it will not be in real-time. If you are interested in real-time analytics, please have a look at our Reports section.

Security and GDPR
What does this mean in terms of GDPR compliance?
The Redshift integration has very small consequences for your relationship with Recruitee in terms of GDPR compliance. Recruitee will still process the exact same data. Amazon Web Services was already a sub-processor of your data. Being a sub-processor means that Amazon Web Services processes personal data on our behalf but we as the processor, in turn, process personal data on your behalf.
Your processing of the personal data through Redshift Integration may require some changes on your end. For example, you may want to update your privacy policy to inform candidates that you want to generate certain analytics.
Is the Redshift integration secure?
Yes, Amazon Web Services is ISO 27001 certified. We make sure that you can only connect to Redshift with the right credentials and only from specific IP-addresses.
Do I need to have a DPA with Amazon Web Services?
No, Recruitee has a DPA with Amazon Web Services. That means that Amazon Web Services will act as a sub-processor.
Where will our personal data be processed?
In Frankfurt, Germany.
Why is the data not anonymized?
The Redshift integration has been created for end-users that are looking for maximum possibilities in terms of analytics. Our goal was to allow our customers to generate any sets of data that they would like. Such sets of data could also include names of candidates, for example if you would to make a list of the most effective application procedures and deep dive into what made those procedures successful.
Customers that would like to work with anonymized data can use their business intelligence software to filter the data provided through Redshift.
When is my data deleted from Amazon Web Services?
Any data that is deleted from our main database at Google Cloud Platform will also be deleted from Amazon Web Services within 72 hours. Please note that backups can be kept up to 37 days. Backups are required for GDPR compliance.
