We updated our hiring roles feature to make hiring with your team even more intuitive and easier to customize according to your workflow.

Setting up a hiring role has just become easier as all permissions under Settings > Company > Hiring roles are now divided into categories. You can also see at a glance what turning on a certain permission will allow the users with this hiring role to do in the account.

New permissions

In addition to updates to the hiring roles view, we also added new permissions to make hiring roles more granular and therefore customizable. They were created by dividing already existing permissions, so no former access configuration will be lost.

The following new permissions have been added:

High level data access

This permission gathers all higher-level actions within Recruitee that, by default, only Administrators have access to. Users with this permission can manage company wide SSO settings and delete all notes and evaluations including those made by others.

Delete candidates

Users with this permission can delete any candidate they have access to.

Share candidates

Users with this permission can share any candidate they have access to using sharing containers. This permission also includes copying candidates into another company account.

Publish jobs

Users with this permission can publish jobs they have access to.

Manage templates

Users with this permission can create and modify email, questionnaire, pipeline, and evaluations templates.

Manage disqualify reasons

Users with this permission can add and modify disqualify reasons in settings.

Manage email integrations

Users with this permission can sync their own mailbox with Recruitee.

Manage integrations

Users with this permission can enable integrations and adjust settings.

Manage jobs widget

Users with this permission can adjust job widget settings and publish jobs on other websites.

Manage API tokens

Users with this permission can create and edit personal API tokens

Managing roles

You can now add custom descriptions to your hiring roles by clicking the pencil icon next to its name and directly see in the hiring roles section who is already assigned to each hiring role.

If you click the three dots in the top-right of a role, you can easily invite new team members with this role into the account.

Preview roles

Once you’ve created a new hiring role, you can click the three dots in the top-right and select View all permissions to get a preview of all permissions you have selected.

Compare roles

You can also select to Compare roles to see how some of the roles you have created differ from each other if you click the three dots in the top-right of your hiring role.
